New York Prime Steakhouse ~ Atlanta

New York Prime is located in the heart of [Buckhead] Atlanta’s financial district and is one of the top steakhouses in the country.  When entering, you are greeted by one of the owners, yes, one of the owners, Bobby Donlan; how cool is that!   The steaks are cooked to perfection and the sides are to die for.  Yes, it’s a little expensive, but you get your money’s worth.  You could eat one of their sides along with the basket filled with a variety of breads and be stuffed; so imagine adding a big, juicy steak to your plate!

The drinks are magnificent, too, and they are made just the way you like ‘em!

They also have live music to set to mood, so what else could you ask for?  We’ll I’ll tell you….

This is one of the VERY FEW restaurants in Atlanta where you can walk in (YES, walk in) smoking.  As soon as you are seated, your server brings you a nice cigar ashtray and a pack of matches – Very classy.

They have a huge bar you can sit at and smoke, or you can sit at any of the booths or tables to the far right upon entering.

I HIGHLY recommend you make reservations, unless you are going to sit at the bar.

New York Prime is located on Lenox Road behind the Ritz Carlton.

Monday—Saturday • 5pm — 11pm (Bar opens at 4pm)
Sunday 5pm —10pm (Bar opens at 4pm)
