It’s official, Founder’s Beer will hit store shelves in Georgia today! The announcement was made just a few minutes ago by Savannah Distributing via their Twitter account @gabeer.

If you’re a fan of craft beer then you’ve heard of Founder’s. The brewery is based in Grand Rapids, MI and their brews are very highly sought after. Three of their beers are on the Top 25 list at BeerAdvocate.com; including Canadian Breakfast Stout (#6), Kentucky Breakfast Stout (#7) and Founder’s Breakfast Stout (#22).

Where in Atlanta can I purchase the Founder’s Breakfast Stout referred to in your column?
It’s a seasonal and I believe it’s pretty much gone for now. It releases in the fall each year. Kentucky Breakfast Stout releases each March.

Sorry, I meant to mention that you can get the Founder’s beers at Hop City in Atlanta, Mink’s in Marietta, Sherlock’s in Kennesaw, Lucky’s in Woodstock and Total Wine locations – those are the ones I know of on my end of town. I’m sure several others carry it as well
