Come join us as we share our thoughts on great cigars, great libations and other items that we feel compliment The Stogie Life.   We’ll bring you cigar reviews, cigars news, beverage recommendations, Atlanta area cigar events, details on cigar-friendly businesses, B&M reviews and a whole lot more.

We don’t claim to be professionals at this cigar game, just some guys who know what they like and what they don’t like.   Hopefully we’ll enjoy most of the stuff we sample along the way but if we find something we don’t enjoy we’ll let you know that as well.  So feel free to hang out with us and let us know what you think of our site.

I’m relatively new to the cigar scene with only a couple years serious experience enjoying premium cigars.  My favorites include the Illusione Epernay and the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero.   I enjoy a hot cup of coffee, a cool mojito or some great rum all on its own with my cigars.

I’m also the current president of the C4 Cigar Club and work to promote the club at local shops and help to get brothers and sisters of the leaf together for great events.   Please feel free to visit the C4 website and join in our discussion forums or perhaps join us for one of our events in the Northwest Atlanta metro area.

Charlie “Labman” Flowers
I began smoking an occasional cigar back in university in 2000. At the time I didn’t know what I was smoking (usually the cheapest stick I could find), but I do remember enjoying the experience of relaxing with a cigar very much! After university I moved back to my hometown in northern Canada, and because there aren’t any B&M’s within hundreds of miles of me, I soon forgot the pleasures of smoking a cigar.

In the spring of 2007 a friend of mine travelled to the Dominican Republic and brought back a bunch of cigars for me to try. It rekindled my love affair with cigars! I took my newly rediscovered hobby to the internet where I became a member of several cigar forums. The forums not only provided me with a wealth of cigar knowledge, but it also introduced me to some very fine cigars. My current favourites include a number of Bolivar Habanos, Padron Anniversary ’64 maduro, Ramon Allones Specially Selected, Oliva Master Blends III, and I’m quickly becoming a bit of a Tatuaje freak.
